Bomag background information
Bomag GmbH (Bopparder Maschinenbaugesellschaft GmbH) is a German mechanical construction company, specialized in soil, asphalt and waste compaction machines. The company's head office is located in Boppard in the Land of Rhineland-Palatinate. Since its acquisition by the Fayat group in 2005, Bomag also has been selling finish and cold milling machine. Bomag is part of the group's “road Equipment” division. It is the world leader in the field of compactors.
Bomag is part of the FAYAT Road Equipment Division with the companies Marini Spa, Marini-Ermont, company auxiliary company (SAE), DynaPac, SECMAIR, RAVO, SCARB & CHARLATTE HANDING.
The Bomag product range is divided into five categories:
- Compacting with pourgrons, vibrant plates, vibrant rollers, versatile compactors;
- Construction of asphalt roads: tandem rolls, combined rolls, pneumatic rolls, asphalt finishers;
- Earthmoles: single cell rollers and floor compactors;
- Recycling and stabilization: cold milling machine, cold recyclers, soil stabilizers;
- Waste treatment: waste compactor.
