Terex trucks
The Terex Corporation is an American machine-building firm that focuses on designing and manufacturing a vast array of construction, industrial, and other machinery. This company has over 50 production facilities spread throughout the globe and exports to over 170 nations.
The Armington brothers established this business in 1933 under the name "Euclid Company." In 1953, it was acquired by "General Motors," and in 1970, it was renamed "Terex"; since its founding, the machine-building has gone through many "Owners," but it is now one of the most prominent producers of construction and industrial machinery in the world.
Terex TA400 Heavy dump truck
The Terex TA400 is a "6 x 6" wheeled formula co-heavy heavy loading dump truck used for hauling various materials in gravel and sand quarries and on road building projects.
It is one of the most productive vehicles in its class since it was designed to function in all kinds of weather.
The TEREX TA400 is 11,055 millimetres in length and has 2,990 millimetres of space between the front and middle axles (another 1,950 mm is on the base of the rear trolley). The "American" has a width of 3,360 millimetres, a total height of 3,945 millimetres, and a minimum road clearance of 605 millimetres, which is quite noteworthy.
The maximum load capacity of the dump truck is 38,000 kg, and it weighs 30 820 kg in its fully equipped configuration. The car's overall mass must not be more than 68,820 kilograms or 17,620 kilograms based on the front bridge and 51,200 kilograms based on the rear.
As delivered, the TA400 has a 5658 mm long, 3130 mm wide dump truck with a capacity of 17.4 cubic meters (with the "cap" - 23.3 cubic meters).
The machine has a gable back, and two single-stage double-acting lifting cylinders and its body is fully welded from high-strength steel.
For TEREX TA400, a diesel V6 Detroit Series 60 is offered with a working volume of 14 litres with water cooling, electronic control, turbocharged and direct fuel injection. The engine generates 450 horsepower (usable power has 437 hp) at 2100 rpm and 2100 nm of torque at 1350 rpm.
By default, the ALLISON HD4560 automatic transmission with six front and one rear gear, a 2-speed hand-up box and a constant six-wheel drive with blocked differentials are installed on the truck.
The dump truck can accelerate to 60 km/h and back to no more than 7.4 km/h. Rasa fuel exceeds 22 litres for each machine-hour of operation.
TEREX TA400 is based on two whole-welded frames made of steel of high-strength varieties in the form of box-shaped beams articulated by large-diameter cylindrical couplings.
In front of the dump truck is equipped with an independent suspension with four pulling levers and traction of Panar. Behind each bridge is attached to the supporting system using three rods and a transverse bar that limits the side movements.
The car is equipped with a hydrostatic steering mechanism, a control amplifier, and an utterly hydraulic brake system (with independent contours of frontal and rear brakes) with disk devices operating in an oil bath.
