Morooka MST2200VDR
"Morooka Co" brought to world markets a new caterpillar dump truck MST2200VDR, capable of working in the most severe conditions, including tundra, northern and arctic latitudes.
The machine differs a number of original technical solutions. The main thing among them is the platform, which turns relative to the caterpillar chassis, on which there are a cabin, engine, part of the transmission units, fuel tank and a self -lifting body. This design ensures the operation of a dump truck in very constrained conditions, where there is no way for a turn.
Compared to the predecessor, the beginner is characterized by an enhanced chassis. With a equipped mass of 16 tons, it transports up to 11 tons of cargo. A dump truck 3.5 cubic bucket body is overturned back using a hydraulic drive to an angle up to 60 °.
High cross -country ability, snow, wet soil or swamp provide a high road clearance (586 mm) and rubber caterpillars with a width of 800 mm each with steel cores inside. The specific pressure on the soil with the load does not exceed 0.61 kgf/cm2. Plants developed jointly with Bridgestone have a resource of 5 thousand hours and increase the smoothness of the move, so their support rollers do not have an elastic suspension, but work as balancers.
In the engine compartment-a in-line 6-cylinder turbodiesel Caterpillar C7.1 Ecological Standard Tier 4. Its working volume is 7.2 liters, capacity-253 hp. The fuel tank holds 300 liters. The drive is implemented through a hydraulic transmission: the engine rotates a hydraulic pump, which transfers its energy to hydraulic models built into the hubs of leading stars located in front. Such a scheme allows the most economical use of the full capacity of the turbodiesel, it provides a stepless to control and traction force, and also facilitates management. The maximum speed at high engine speed reaches 11 km/h, with low - 8 km/h.
Morooka MST2200VDR is equipped with a spacious single cab. In front of the driver are two levers, with which he controls the movement forward/back and right/left. The machine can turn around in place around its axis. The seat, equipped with an individual suspension, adjustments to the position of the pillow and back, reduces the operator's fatigue, and the air conditioner creates a proper microclimate. The equipment includes an information display, which display data on the state of various systems.
